What is your favorite word?

“Impeachment.”

What do you like most about working at Westland? 

“Working with the students.”

 

What is your most memorable school experience? 

“Hanging out at my friend's house with his ferrets.

If you weren’t a teacher what career would you like to pursue? 

“A lawyer.”

 

What is your favorite fairy tale? 

“Goldilocks and the Three Bears.”

​

What were you like as a student? 

“I was a good student...I had no choice.”

 

How has school changed since you were a student? 

“There’s more technology now, which can be good or bad. Also, back then, people believed in just straight out telling you the information rather than you going to find it. It was more like, teacher is the purveyor of all knowledge, students are the receptors instead of let’s facilitate and learn everything together.”

 

What book has impacted you the most? 

“A Framework for Understand Poverty, Ruby Bridges.” 

​

If you had to teach a different subject what would it be? 

“Science.”
